The Rescue TP Hybrid is designed for highly skilled players seeking a Tour-caliber trajectory and greater workability from their hybrid clubs.

 

The Rescue TP has a smaller, more compact steel clubhead with a lower, more forward center of gravity and less offset to help better players achieve a lower, more penetrating ball flight, more control, and more workability.

 

"The current trend in hybrids is toward larger-sized heads and lower CGs," said Tom Olsavsky, TaylorMade's senior director of metalwood creation, in the news release. "Meanwhile, tour pros asked us for a smaller, sleeker head with a more forward CG to help them keep the ball under control. We complied by creating the Rescue TP."

customer I spent a lot of time with John the Pro at Telford and tried a number of different clubs - Callaway Big Bertha, Nike SQ etc. The TaylorMade 2009 Rescue were easily the best striking of all of the clubs I tried.
customer There are too many good rescue options out there to struggle that much with the most used clubs in your bag. I went back to TaylorMade 2009 Rescue. I trust it is the best.

customer I am a senior golfer and love TaylorMade 2009 Rescue. The ball literally jumps off the face. Even mis-hits are better than a good hit off my old clubs. About the only problem I have now is I have to get used to my new distance. Every club goes at least 10 yards farther. The grips produce a solid feel with very little pressure.
